Cedar Chest
Overall view
Chest has ten raised panels and sits on sculpted corner foot supports
Top has bread board ends to prevent twisting of the lid
End moulding is dovetailed to the breadboard ends to allow for seasonal changes in the lid.
Stiles between the raised panels has flutes in the face of the stiles, to exhibit asthetic relief from the flat stile.

Cedar bottom is unfinished for moth protection of blankets.
Interior finish is orange shellac so that there will be no bleeding or reaction with heirloom or antique blankets.
