Built in 1828 in Columbiana County, Ohio, this house was the birthplace of industrialist, Harvey Firestone. The farmhouse was moved to Greenfield Village in 1985, restored to its 1882 appearance, and operates as a working living history farm. During the Holiday Season, visitors are greeted by traditional Victorian decorations and the aromas of holiday foods being prepared on the coal-fired cookstove.

Patterned after many 19th century public meeting places, the Town Hall in Greenfield Village was built by Henry Ford in 1929. With its stately Ionic columns and central location on the Village Green, Town Hall is the site of plays and other special activities. During the Holiday Season, the building is decorated in Victorian fashion and is often filled with sounds of holiday music.

Many of Thomas Edison's unmarried employees lived in this boarding house, originally located just a short walk from Edison's Menlo Park Laboratory complex in New Jersey. In December 1879, the building became one of the first residences in the world to be wired with electric lights. Henry Ford moved the building to Greenfield Village in 1929. During the Holiday Season, Edison-style light bulbs and Victorian decoration make this a bright spot to visit.

From 1892-1903, Mrs. Elizabeth Cohen made her living decorating women's hats in this building, originally located in Detroit, Michigan. Mrs. Cohen purchased ready-made hat bodies then trimmed them to the tastes of her customers with ribbons, artificial flowers, feathers and buttons. This shop was one of a new wave of urban, specialized retail stores that catered to middle-class working families. Henry Ford brought this building to Greenfield Village in 1935.

Henry Ford built six non-denominational chapels around the United States in honor of his mother, Mary Litigot Ford, and his mother-in-law, Martha Bryant. This chapel was built in Greenfield Village in 1929 and contains wood from the Bryant Home where Henry Ford and his wife, Clara, were married in 1886. The bell in the belfry was cast by Paul Revere, Jr. Although no regularly scheduled services are held, the chapel is used for weddings and other special programs year-round.

Noah Webster was 65 years old in 1823 when he moved into this house, originally in New Haven, Connecticut. During his long life, Webster had been friends with George Washington, learned 20 languages, and written a basic reader (nicknamed "The Blue-Backed Speller") that became the second most popular book in America. In 1825, Webster completed his masterwork, the first American dictionary. Henry Ford moved the house to Greenfield Village in 1936.
