Pure maple syrup,  100% natural and delightful,  is made only in eastern North America.   With only a six weeks window,  Sugar or Black Maples are tapped anywhere from mid-February through April.   Weather conditions must be right for the sap to flow,  freezing at night and a thaw during the day.   Though the equipment has changed over the years,  the process is still the same as when the Native Americans taught European settlers how to make "Zinsibukwud."   This unique product,  enjoyed around the world,  requires ten gallons of sap to make just one quart of syrup.
Maple Syrup by Grossman Brothers Maple Products is produced by boiling sap in a Maple Sugar House.   The evaporation takes place in a handcrafted,  traditional timber framed,  post and beam,  building which was fabricated and assembled by Scott A. Carlson.
