Base section is constructed to reinforce a wider stance for the hall tree while providing weight and stability.
The detail of the gently champfered sides and the finial fastened to the mitered top moulding,  focuses your attention to the style and grace of this slender piece,  while engraved brass hangers are a sturdy receptor for your coat.
Note that two of the hangers are positioned high while an additional two are positioned low for the younger person,  in your family or the umbrella.
