The English influence can be seen in the architecture of this American church, more formerly known as Community Church, built in 1805. Often the most ornamental parts of a church's exterior were patterned after English designs. It was common practice in the nineteenth-century to have a congregational cemetery in the churchyard. Some of the descendants of the parishioners interred on the grounds of the "Old Church on the Hill" still live in the area today.

Was constructed and dedicated in 1904 as Episcopalian, but leaders of the church held out their hands to visitors of other beliefs. Installed in 1921, the stained glass window portraying the theme "David Set Singers Before the Lord" was designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany in memory of former Jekyll Island Club president Frederick Gilbert Bourne. It was said the theme may have been an allusion to Bourne once being a former head of the Singer Sewing machine Company.
