Information & history on rear of plaque:
SOP98 Old Manse was built in 1770 for Reverend William Emerson,  a patriot and spiritual leader of the Concord Minutemen.   On April 19,  1775,  Emerson and his wife witnessed the outbreak of the American Revolution as they watched the battle of Concord from behind their home.   In this house,  Ralph Waldo Emerson,  Reverend Emerson's grandson,  wrote his first book,  entitled Nature.   In 1842,  Nathaniel Hawthorne honeymooned here with his new bride,  Sofia.   They rented The Old Manse for three years,  during which time Hawthorne immortalized the house by writing Mosses From An Old Manse,  published in 1846.
The Old Manse is a property of The Trustees of Reservations and is open to the public.

HMD01 Pink Lady, Breast Cancer Research House,   Feminine and frilly, our Pink Lady captures the heart with its welcoming porch and arbor.  Pink ribbons adorn the home as a symbol of a women's touch in turning a house into a home.  Our ribbons also share in the telling of a message of care for women around the world.
With each purchase of The Pink Lady set Shelia's Inc. will make a donation towards the research to prevent Breast Cancer.  We hope that displaying this product in your home will assist in building awareness about the importance of this cause.

LUV01 Romantic Get Away is the haven sweethearts dream of hoping to encounter Cupid with his enchanted arrows of love.
